All About Blood
an impressive amount of fluid. People who are gushing blood obviously
need medical attention, but because of the severity of the injury, it is not
uncommon for someone in that condition to remain at the crime scene. Un-
fortunately, it is also not uncommon for them to have died from blood loss
by the time the police arrive. Image 1 is typical of an arterial gush from a
major artery. The amount of blood lost was obviously huge.
